About the CCIR

We are an advanced imaging facility, centrally located - we can help you with your research.

The Center for Clinical Imaging Research (CCIR) is a centralized, hospital-based facility that provides access to advanced imaging resources and support for a large number of clinical investigators. Located on the 10th floor of the West Pavilion of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the CCIR provides the latest in advanced imaging technologies, equipment and expertise to support basic and translational inpatient and outpatient clinical research.

Several departments at Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) and the Danforth Campus use our facility for traditional and translational clinical research projects for a broad spectrum of programs across diverse patient groups. We provide a conducive and innovative environment for clinical imaging research and attract investigators representing several medical specialties. About 60 percent of our users are not radiologists.
